I love accompanying women through the challenges of life.  Women are often expected to take on a variety of competing roles and responsibilities that can lead to exhaustion and burnout. These unrealistic expectations take a toll.  We all go through periods in life where, because of life circumstances, developmental stages, and stress, we experience difficulties. However, these are also opportunities for growth and healing. By providing a non-judgmental and safe atmosphere, you will feel secure enough to do the work it takes to heal trauma, make meaning, and find joy. Together, we can transform suffering into thriving. I will be right there by your side for this journey.  

This is a photo of  Heather Lindh-Payne, LCSW-C.  She loves working with women who feel burnt out, may be struggling with their relationships with their partner, kids, or a parent.  She works with trauma, anxiety, depression, and postpartum issues.

My name is Heather Lindh-Payne and I have over 20 years of experience helping women just like you through myriad issues. I have a particular interest in helping women navigate relationships. Each person is unique in what treatment works best for them, and I pride myself in the ability to connect people with the support they need to feel “nurtured-well”. I am a graduate of Smith College of Social Work and completed my undergraduate studies locally at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. I am a dedicated life-long learner and work hard to stay up-to-date on best practices and current research in my field.
