We will cover three aspects of the downsizing process.
- When should you start thinking about downsizing? Kerri and Sophie, from Valley Realty, will explore the economic considerations while Sharon, from Nurtured Well, gives an overview of some emotional considerations.
2. Where to downsize to? Contrary to popular belief, downsizing does not necessarily mean moving into a nursing home. Kerri and Sophie will present several options.
3. How to start the discussion. Maybe you are on board. That’s great! But what if your spouse is not. Additionally, adult children often find themselves having to broach the subject with ageing parents. Sharon will give some advice on having theses hard conversations.
