Wild Awakening Women’s Retreat

Less Worry, More Warrior

Find Your Authentic Self and Inner Power Through Nature

More warrior less worrying! In theses fire dumpster times it is normal to feel overwhelmed. In addition to political issues, perhaps you are struggling with personal problems. Are you overbooked and underpaid? Are you having family or health issues? Perhaps you are just bored in life. Feelings of hopelessness and powerlessness are the norm now. Nature can help!

The Wild Awakening Women’s Retreat will reconnect you with the resilience of nature. In this retreat, you will find your authentic power. Through both formal and informal immersive outdoor activities, you will discover how nature shows us our intrinsic strength, value, and purpose.

“The retreat was the best time I’ve had in a long time. I really needed to slow down and unplug. Getting back into nature really helped with this and my ability to focus and be present”

What is Resilient Eco-Yoga?

Unite with the healing elements of nature through breathwork and  intentional slow flow movement based in the Hatha Raja and Ashtanga Yoga traditions.   The practice closes with  meditation in a final resting form, focusing on our interconnection with the more than human world.  This all-levels practice is about understanding what your unique body needs in any given form, and graciously attending to it.  Every form is optional, and you’re encouraged to make each form your own.  Our practice will be outside if it feels like the temperature is above 50 degrees and not raining.

Join Us Now!

The Wild Awakening Women’s Retreat offers space, time, and tools to replenish and nurture yourself.  Better yet, you will leave with practical ways to continue restoring your wellness at home. This year’s retreat has a special focus on finding your power. You’ll leave with a better perspective on how to identify and navigate obstacles to your resilience.

Based on Nature Informed Therapy, we explore and implement ways the outdoor world teaches us to manage stress and compassion fatigue. We use physical elements from nature, take intentional nature walks, experience sensory meditations, and eco yoga to restore balance. The best part is the fellowship with other women. There will also be ample time to just relax.

What makes this retreat unique:

We limit this weekend to just 20 women. The small group is highly intentional as we believe the connections between participants are just as important as the material we teach. Many participants reflect on how amazing it feels to be surrounded by such smart and interesting women. Furthermore, we (Elizabeth & Sharon) have been friends and colleagues for over 15 years. This synergy is apparent in how we co-lead the retreat. Lastly, we are both trained in numerous modalities and collectively have 4 decades of experience. We draw on this to bring you a highly curated experience.

“This retreat was inspirational, healing, sacred, joy-filled, and deeply needed. If there were more gatherings such as this, I believe there would be less violence in our world.”
