Midlife Women’s Retreat

Meet Me In The Middle

Two Sunday Afternoon Sessions

Are you a woman in your 40s or 50s?  If so, you are “midlife”!  Shocking, I know.  There are lots of changes and challenges for midlife women.  For example, you might be  caring  for your parents while also raising children.  This makes you part of the “sandwich generation”.   Even if you don’t have children, this phase of life often feels overwhelming.

There are a slew of emotional, cognitive, and physical changes for midlife women.  Much of this is due to perimenopause– the 10 year march to menopause.   Furthermore,  our society worships youth. Therefore, midlife women are often forgotten about, ignored, or stereotyped in rather unflattering ways.

Lastly, and most importantly,  this is literally the halfway point of our life.  That, itself, begs for great reflection.  It’s a time we can evaluate how we feel about aging and approaching the “second act”.
