As part of my commitment to educating future Nurse Practitioners, I will have a student at Nurtured Well, LLC starting Jan 14, 2019. She will offer psychotherapy for a nominal rate of $10 per session. If you are interested in scheduling with her, just call us at 443-760-7827! She may also be observing some of my visits. As stated in our policies, you always have the right to not have the student present during your visit.
A little about Venrice Kerr MS, CRNP-F.:
“I am a family nurse practitioner, practicing for the past 10 years. I was accepted to University of Cincinnati in the Post-Masters Graduate Mental Health Psychiatric Program.
My clinical background includes internal medicine, family practice and currently in urgent care. I started my career as a registered nurse at Sisters of Charity Hospital on a medical/surgical floor in 2004. I then earned a Master of Science degree, from The University of Buffalo as a family nurse practitioner in 2007. Subsequently, I have been practicing in an out-patient setting. Currently, I am practicing in an urgent care setting to afford me the time and flexibility to complete my studies.
Prior to working in urgent care, I worked as a primary care nurse practitioner in community psychiatry at Walter P. Carter and Carruthers Clinic at University of Maryland Medical Center. This position gave me the opportunity to treat somatic conditions in patients with persistent mental illness with a wide array of co-occurring chronic medical conditions. I have also worked at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in primary care, in both internal and family practice setting treating a wide variety of chronic and acute conditions. Prior to working at GBMC, I managed the Target Clinic for more than 3 years, earning multiple accolades and cooperate acknowledgements.”
